Tour to the Rinner Alm
The classic mountain bike trail starts at the hotel’s front door when you head towards Rinner Alm.
After a hearty "Brettljause" snack, the “pros” can continue on to the Aldrans Alm, and then return back downhill to our Hotel Geisler.
Cycle to the Tulfein Alm
From the car park near the Glungezer mountain lift summit station (940 m), this trail of switchbacks leads past the restaurants Gasthof Windegg, Neuen Gufl and Tulfer Hütte (1,337 m). A short stretch leads you over the ski slopes before heading into the shady forest. At first you ascend gently, but then the trail becomes steeper. Follow the “Tulfeinalm” signs to reach the Tulfein Alm, 2,025 m above sea level, which presents you with a breath-taking panoramic view of the Inn valley and the Karwendel range. You can make your way down the mountain in a variety of ways via forest trails headed towards Tulfes.
Bike in the Karwendel Mountain Range – Halltal and Manors
A popular mountain bike tour takes you through the town of Absam in the Hall valley to the restaurant Gasthaus St. Magdalena and on to the Herrenhäuser manors. The route leads directly from the entrance of the Hall valley via the toll road and into the valley.
At Bettelwurfeck near the majestic Bettelwurf mountain, you make a short climb at an incline of 22% past the turn-off to the Alpine restaurant St. Magdalena.
At the barriers of the last car park, the asphalt road turns into a gravel road. And from here you continue on to the abandoned Herrenhäuser manors.
You can obtain a cycling map of the region on site!
