Hotel Geisler Tulfes – since 1964
- 1964 – on time for the Winter Olympic Games in Innsbruck – Heinrich Geisler opens the Guesthouse Geisler.
- During the Olympic Games the Canadian Ski Team trained at our local mountain, the Glungezer, for the race down the Patscherkofel.
- 1972 – Built the 17m-long outdoor swimming pool and garden making it ideal as a summer holiday destination.
- 1978 – Added the old inn "Gasthaus" in Judenstein and then expanded to build our four-star hotel – Hotel Geisler Rinn.
- As a Tyrolean alpine sheep farmer, and due to his passion for the alpine region Glungezer – Tuxer Voralpen, Heinrich Geisler leased land and on this alpine meadow he opened the popular hut "Heinrich's Schäferhütte".
- End of the 80's expansion: The west wing now includes the popular "Tower Room", "Organic Room", and the relaxing sauna.
- On time for the anniversary of our founding in 2014, we opened our modern stainless-steel swimming pool with plenty of extras.
- From 2017 onwards, we additionally can offer our guests newly-renovated rooms, as well as apartments with kitchens. Our welcoming wellness area was also expanded with a hay-aroma-therapy relaxation room and infrared cabin.
We wholeheartedly thank all our dear guests for their loyalty throughout the many years in the history of the Hotel Geisler here in Tulfes. We are exceptionally proud to be able to welcome not only returning guests, but also the next generation of guests who have spent their childhood holidays here with us.
Yours, Family Trasser-Geisler
