We offer our guests a hiker's map of our holiday region with detailed descriptions of all the hiking paths. In addition, there are various guided tours available with professional mountain guides. Your host, Heinrich, is always happy to help or recommend suitable hiking tours.

Zirbenweg

This easy hike begins in Tulfes. From here you take the Glungezer mountain lifts to the starting point: the Tulfein Alm. After a 2.5-hour walk on a well-marked nature trail with a fantastic view of the Inn valley and the northern range, take the Patscherkofel mountain lift to Igls and the postbus back to Tulfes.
Hike up the Glungezer
The ascent to the top of the Glungezer through the Tulfein Alm is an easy hike you can complete relatively quickly ( in about 1.5 hours) and is also considered the popular way to ascend Tulfes’ home mountain.
You can reach the starting point of the hiking trail in the alpine pasture, the Tulfeinalm, by taking the Glungezer mountain lift. If you are in looking for a bit of a fitness challenge, you can start your mountain tour from the valley station of the Glungezer mountain lift in Tulfes.
The Glungezer summit, 2,678 m above sea level, rewards its hikers (when the weather is good) with a magnificent view of more than 300 alpine peaks.
Up to the Rinner Alm
The Rinner Alm is an ideal destination for hikers and mountain bikers. Families with children can take off on a little hike directly from our Hotel Geisler, go for a picnic, or play in the nearby stream. You will enjoy a particularly beautiful view of Rinn while ascending the hill. The friendly staff at the Rinner Alm ensure you are served their delicious meals and fresh drinks.

- Alm Hike: Tulfes - via mountain lift up to Tulfein - Tulfeinalm - Zirbenweg - Patscherkofel-Berghotel continue along the Alm trail - Lanser Alm - Sistranser Alm - Aldranser Alm - Rinner Alm - Speckbacherweg path - Tulfes | approx. time: 5.5 hours.
- Tulfes - via mountain lift up to Tulfein - Schäferhütte - Gwannsteig - Steinkasernalm - Vorbergalm - Naturfreundehaus - Halsmarter - catch the mountain lift back down to Tulfes. | only for experienced & fit hikers | approx. time: 6 hours.
- Tulfes - take the mountain lift up to Halsmarter - Stiftsalm - Windegg - Tulfes | approx. time: 2.5 hours.
- Tulfes - take the mountain lift up to Halsmarter - Voldertal - Naturfreundehaus - Volderwildbach - Windegg - Tulfes | approx. time: 3.5 hours.
- Tulfes - take the mountain lift up to Halsmarter - take the forest path back down to Tulfes | approx. time: 1.5 hours.

- Glungezer Via Ferrata (climbing equipment necessary): Tulfes - take the mountain lift to Tulfein - starting from the top station of the Tulfein lift take the via ferrata to the Glungezerhütte - descend to the Schäferhütte - Tulfeinalm - catch the mountain lift back down to Tulfes.
