The Glungezerbahn mountain railway whisks you up to the Tulfein Alm. Then you'll walk along the Zirbenweg trail at the tree-line 2000m above sea level to the Patscherkofel mountain and you'll enjoy the ride in the gondola lift back to Igls afterwards.
There you can get onto the hiking bus, which takes you directly back to your hotel or the car park at Tulfes. Bus and mountain railways can be used with one ticket only.

Description of the tour:

The Zirbenweg is a famous panorama hiking and nature trail between the Glungezer and Patscherkofel mountain. A safe, botanical hike through the Alps' largest stone pine wood. Many benches invite for a rest. There are numerous signs along the hiking trail and a fascinated view of the Inntal valley and the Nordkette mountain range.

Start of the tour is in Tulfes - 8km from Hall in Tirol
Take the Glungezer mountain railway to Tulfein - Tulfein Alm - Zirbenweg trail - stop at Boscheben with breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains - Patscherkofel - with the gondola lift back to Igls and with the bus back to Tulfes.
